WC Products By Category Widget is a woocommerce extension which extends the default widget functionality to show Best Seller Products, Featured Products, Top Rated Products, Recent Products, Recently viewed Products,On Sale Products, Random Products by product category/categories. This extension provide a extreme flexibility to get custom widgets to show products according to one or multiple categories/subcategories on template sidebar.
Let’s have an example that you have a specific page for particular category like clothing & its subcategory like Men & Women Section and you want a sidebar widget to show only those products fall under these category while you also have other categories like shoes, jewellery etc in your shop. So you can use these widgets and select only Clothing & its subcategory to show clothing section products on your sidebar.
Installation of WC Products By Category Widget extension is very easy. Just upload plugin files & activate the plugin. Go to the Appearance->Widgets from left sidebar of Admin panel. You will get ready to use modified widgets by prefix of WCPBC. Drag them to the sidebar and configure like your normal widget except category section where you will see a multiple select box having all the categories/subcategories including number of products assigned. To select multiple categories hold CTRL key & select one by one. Now you are through to get complete control over your widget functionality.
