At first you should never use mySQL root account with wordpress.
I do not have install this addon yet but i imagine that the issue is related to mySQL settings. So check the database settings and compare them to see if it's correct.

i found same issue iam checking now to solve it ^^

its issue from files inside the plugin, will check what is the issue now and back with solution if i can

open this file
wp-content/plugins/supportboard/include/wp.php

and change the details of db + email + for $sb_wp_prefix make it like so

$sb_wp_prefix = "wp_" or whatever ur wp prefex
