OK I recently started a woocommerce site and have been struggling to get the best site performance for better SEO. So far this is what I have:

GTMetrix Result:

Google Speed Test:

Mobile: 23, Desktop: 58 but varies

So how can I improve the Google Speed Test result.

Thanks

I agree but how can I improve on it? Its a nightmere seeing such result. Maybe its my hosting because each time I try to run that test, i see spikes in cpu, memory, IOS.

Someone recommended Hostinger

Sure, the Hosting is a big factor. I would recommend blue-host.

Try a Cache Plugin like my personal favorite Swift Performance.
If u use a lot of Images, then you should optimize them with a Plugin like Imagify.

This is why you shouldn't care about Google Page Speed Insights. They dont even measure you sites loading speed anymore.

Is that GTMetrix screenshot from the time you had your site hosted with us?

The Title of the Post is a little catchy but you shouldn't take it for real. If the overall sitespeed is to slow, it will force Users to Pogostick and this will affect the Rankings on a Site. So -> Site Speed matters! And in a time where 70% of your users came from a mobile device, it makes sense to optimize the Site.

It is true that Google maybe can`t really measure your overall loading time, but the user is ;)

currently hard to get a good score with Google page speed. They change algorithms to calculate based on user experienced with chrome browser reports.

Well, I'm just saying maybe none shouldn't take Google metrics that serious if they are looking to optimize their overall site's loading speed. Better use something else for that matter. Pingdom does a great job in my opinion.
