how many days after canceling domain.?

My domain has expired on 31 of december and it was canceled on 1st of january.Now that i checked the domain is still under property of the host i bought.Now i have a question, How many days after canceling, the domain should be again ready to buy it again..?

I think it depends on every host's policy? Mine is around 30 days

Generally 30 - 60 days depending on policy.

The domain takes 30 days after expiring ...during this time you can renew it at the normal rate ...Then after the 30 days it goes into Redemption period of another 30 days at this time the Domain might be sold at $120 or $100 or even more due to the Domain registrar policy ....So it takes 60 Days before a domain which is expired to be back into the system ...But if the domain is already not expired before you request cancellation or deletion ...it depends on the Registrar policy and time frame

Just renew with your current registrar. Why wait for it to expire?

Your domain will be caught by a drop catching service in seconds if it's worth anything.
I'm waiting to catch some in the next year, hopefully. (need moar $$$!)

Please don't lose your domain for no reason.

bought it for 2 usd and renew for 35 usd

Correct information is that it has a 90 probation period to be redeemed. If your domain expired on 12/31, then you can pay the fee depending on the domain registrar or hosting provider's pricing for it. Otherwise you have to wait the 90 days before you can register it again unless someone places a backorder on the on the domain and then purchases it before you do. Ideally follow up with the domain registrar on it.

That means they think it's premium. That's drop catch bait.

I'd rather pay 35 now instead of $350 from HugeDomains later. But what do I know?
