Hello.

Can anyone show me a working way to change admin password from phpmyadmin?

I have tried to change the text to MD5 and SHA. I have tried MD5 hash generator, I still cannot login.

It is not a WordPress site.

While mentioning it's not a wordpress site it is helpful tho is useless if you don't give more details about the script.
Some have a combination between md5 and sha1 and others are just encrypting it with char switch and some other encryption.

Look in the script files, find the password generator script and just create based on that a new php file that echoes your password
After that replace that password in your PMA

Check your PM shortly. It's an android app, but he can't access the admin panel. If you have time to look it would be great. :) I'm on a deadline for a job. :)
