Huge Google Update coming in May

The strange thing, however..
I see that one of the signals Google wants is engagement/clicks on your page, to show its a real visitor and not a bot.
However I am thinking this will lead to a massive influx of spammy popups that will solve the issue for the blogger, but make the website experience worse for the user.

Anyway, best of luck, and make you follow all the guidelines so you not get slammed when the update hits like a train next month.

Amazon is 100% authority.
Literally just as powerful as Google, just in regards to shopping, not regular search.

Amazon ranks because of their authority.
Not because of backlinks or anything else.

Google also stated several times over the last few years that the amount of backlinks you got it not super important, its the relevance and quality of those backlinks = 1 DR 90 domain in your niche will out perform 90 DR 1 irrelevant backlinks.

But Yes, maybe you can manage to rank for a few keywords based on Spam links but the more you focus on quality the better you will do.
