Hello everybody,

Does anybody know his way around with the IIS 10 Server from windows ?
My problem is, when i'm uploading an image inside wordpress I always have to go to the upload folder on the server to change the security otherwise the image is not vissiable.

Is there i way to setup that once ?

Thanks!

I am a bit confused by what you are asking...are you running a wordpress installation off of linux machine and then hosting your images on a windows machine? Why not put it all on a linux one, or a grouo of linux machines?

If I'm not getting this correctly, the only other thing is that I can think your images might have their permissions set incorrectly. What kind of error do you get when you try to view the image from the web URL it's supposed to be located at? Make sure you are setting it to a CHMOD 0644 for most images.

IIS is Microsoft-proprietary web server software ;)
What am trying to say is everytime i upload a image it doesnt show. (no errors)

I have to login to my windows server 2019 browse to the upload map and change the security.

1.PNG

This is the right permission, but when i have a new upload all checken is un-checked.
So i was hoping somebody know a settings or a option to setup.
