Hello, fellow community members. I am an IT systems architect , and analyst and have been designing all types of bespoke systems for over 20 years. I also provide private tuition for high school students which strangely I find quite rewarding.
For the last 15 years I have been living in South Africa. I noticed there are a lot of computer illiterate children and adullts here (most likely the same in most places, however it was more noticable for me than any other country I have worked or visited in.).
So collecting any old I.T. equipment which is either broken and nonbroklen computer equipment and being thrown out, fixing them up, and donating them to school students who families are unable to fund the equipment themselves.
I like to think that I have been able to give people an experience to which they would normally miss on.
Rik
