Before installing remove old file and install it. Navigate to User->Wp Persistent Login. Then you will have the plugin dashboard.

so i have to first install the free version than install this premium version and than remove the free version. Is this what you meant?

Nope. If have old version then remove and install this. If you don't have old version no worries, just install this.
