Will the .edu email last for a lifetime? If not, once the .edu email expires, don't the subscriptions end?

Yes and you will have student portal, with backup email system, and more than that, you will link with Gmail account wich is last., and your office.com account is lifetime, as you just need edu email as login id, and your personal password

GSuite already have and bought on ebay for less than 1€....

Office 356 also already have from school my college and bought another for my family, also for less than 1€...

Can't only get .edu emails, the ones I see only last 6 months, you sure yours are lifetime?
