You don't need the key to use it. You only need the key to automatically update it. This version is fully functional

this plugin does not work without license key. you can instal it but when you go on New import, all 3 options are greyed out (Upload a file | Download a file | Use existing file), and in settings License key field is empty.
Therefore this is pretty much useles
