Reset IDM trial by deleting one registry key

Hi ,
If you are a windows user and your IDM trial is expired. Do not worry just follow this trick I think you will get a good result. I personally use this method to reset IDM trail.

Just remove HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-3681227441-695364207-2395006485-1001_Classes\WOW6432Node\CLSID{07999AC3-058B-40BF-984F-69EB1E554CA7} from the registry and the trial should be reset.

It has the ability to reset the trial period of IDM with just one click. But remember only click on reset button not on register button because register function is not appropriate as TRIAL function.

But remember your antivirus detect it as a virus, do not be panic it is a false error.

Thanks for this, after resetting how do you get rid of the annoying 'IDM is not registered' and 'registration form' pop ups?

Even I encounter the same problem, but I think there is no solution to this..

I use this IDM Trial Resetter but it is almost the same as from the J2Team github page. It works perfectly but I have tested in with older IDM versions. Not sure if it will works with any newer ones.

I use neat which is lite and similar to IDM.
I can ensure that Neat is the best alternative of IDM.
The great thing about the neat is you can use it on Mac and Windows.
