hi guys. i'm looking for a plugin or function in wordpress (if any) that functions like twiiter (but not twitter). something where an admin or an editor can post something like "REMINDER: all students a required to bring your QR code passes for tomorrows exam".
Then this will appear say on box in the front page. A box like a chat box (nobody can reply) but anybody can scroll up.
e.g.

Chruch opens at 9AM tomorrow. Bring your own food. :-D
