As per the title. Which is your preferred tool to use for building a website locally, on your PC before deploying it to the cloud?

I've been using Local by Flywheel but would love to hear what you guys use & your experience with the tool.

I use the old-school way Xampp works fine to date! Following this thread for other recommendations as well!

Laragon, Easy to deploy no bugs to be seen

You won't suddenly lose all your data like when with xampp or wampp.
Interesting. I haven't heard of them before. Looks to be nice & lightweight as well. I think I need to check this one out myself :)

XAMPP or WAMPP is my favorite.

# My default dev-server for JavaScript
-----------------------------------------------
» VITEST - Test Environment
» JEST - JavaScript Testing Framework
» VITE - Frontend Development/Build-Tool
» VUE or REACT - JavaScript Framework
» VS CODE - IDE
» DOCKER - Deployment
» POSTMAN or SWAGGER - API

* This environment is not only suitable for WordPress, but also in general.

Very interesting treat. I take a look at Laragon and Local by Flywheel.

I discarded XAMP and WAMP long ago and only test WP on subdomains. Really cool to have different options to return to working on local.

LARAGON. Not shouting, just yellin'.
But for real - LARAGON. The blue elefant is your friend.

There are many website builders actually but most of them are very expensive. If you're looking for a more affordable solution, I would recommend you CloudFunnels. It's an all-in-one software that will not only help you to build a proper website but is also very affordable. The best part about this tool is that it integrates with major CRMs & autoresponders which saves me money on email marketing tools.
