Is there any WordPress plugin to compress video before uploading on server ??

I am designing a website for client in LMS. He says videos must be compressed automatically before uploading on server.. is there any such thing available ? I doubt ??

how can you compress it online without uploading it? if your intention is to save space, you can delete original video after conversion but without uploading you cant convert or compress it. also you can use gdrive or onedrive for video hosting. there are many post about how to get unlimited gdrive space or 5tb onedrive

Actually the purpose is... I m developing a MULTI VENDER COURSE WEBSITE. So the client is saying he is purchasing AWS files hosting for all his VIDEOS. that's why he is saying all videos must be compressed before saving in AWS servers..

in my opinion its not possible. Pl do let me know,, Thank you.

converting on pc before uploading is only option. converting on server may increase server cost too. if he is only one who is uploading then its fine otherwise have to set upload size limit to prevent storage cost.

its a multi vendor website.. video must be compress automatically from backend.. is this possible ??

Thnx 4 your response. so it is not possible, to compress videos automatically while uploading it on AWS .. Thnx hmm

try convert quality to 360p before your upload, its normal quality video

Hi.
It’s a very bad idea to store and even compress video using Wordpress.
