Can anyone help me with the song categories section in the admin panel? I can't add song categories after updating to 1.4. When I add a category and click on save nothing happens, and when I refresh no category is added.

thanks for keeping this up to date... seem to have a problem that happens with lots of stuff i test out... install works fine then after that i get 500 error... i have tried rewrite base to the sub folder but it doesnt work

Serious ? i didn't even know the app requires a VPS or a dedicated server, thanks i will try with a VPS, but i am using O2Switch, it still won't work?

you have to install mpeg codecs which have to be installed at higher level usually... had same problem before. works fine on WAMP or raspberry pi though

you can use a shared hosting but you need to check if the hosting supports FFMPEG.
