the latest version is built on php 8. most hosting aren't on php 8. they update frequently which is a good thing if it is adding new features. However, the updates are mostly fixes and patches. Each time there is a update for any plugin (they break it up to many plugins), it can causes other problems. It is never ending trying to keep up. The theme is hard to configure. These 2 combined can mean that alot of time is spent on setting up, rather than running or promoting your community.

it is clearly you cant read. they had introduced php 8 compatible and support. no just work on php8

Recently it has been impossible to get hold of legitimate copies (all were fake). However, we will be releasing 3.0.5.0 soon, but it will not have the Gecko theme, just core + all Addons.

Once it is ready this thread will be closed and a new one opened.
