Self hosted Youtube like app

I would like to know your opinion about self hosted youtube like app/framework where users can upload videos and then share with others or embed in webpages.

Please suggest any app that you worked with and share pros and cons of that app.

Also if you worked before with playtube and/or mediagoblin also post pros and cons of these 2 apps.
