Solid Affiliate - Adds an Affiliate Platform to Your WordPress Store v3.3.0
Version 3.3 — July 7th, 2026
A reliability-focused release that hardens the parts of Solid Affiliate you lean on most — store credit on the modern block checkout, PayPal payouts, lifetime commissions, per-variation rates — plus a proactive security update. Every fix in this release ships with new automated tests so these flows stay rock-solid as WooCommerce and WordPress keep evolving.
Store Credit, Now Fully Supported on the WooCommerce Block Checkout
Building on the block-checkout accuracy work from version 3.2, we've brought Store Credit fully into WooCommerce's modern block-based cart and checkout. Affiliates with a positive store credit balance will now see the "Apply store credit" option right where they expect it, and the credit is deducted correctly when the order is placed — even in the newer Store API checkout flow where the shopper isn't necessarily the logged-in user. Previously this only worked reliably on the classic checkout, so stores that had adopted the block checkout will notice store credit now "just works" end to end.
More Accurate PayPal Payouts (MassPay)
Your payout records now reflect what PayPal actually did — not just what was submitted. Previously, a bulk PayPal payout could be marked as paid the moment it was sent, before PayPal finished processing it. Now Solid Affiliate automatically reconciles each batch against PayPal after the fact: if PayPal ends up declining a payout, that affiliate is reverted to unpaid so you can pay them properly, and a payout that stays unsettled is surfaced for your review rather than quietly assumed successful. The result is payout data you can trust when it comes to the most important part of your program — actually paying your affiliates.
Lifetime Commissions Now Fire on Guest First Purchases
We fixed a case where a brand-new guest customer's first order wouldn't create a Lifetime Customer link when the "exclude existing customers" setting was enabled — the check was looking across the whole store instead of matching on the customer's email. First-time guests are now correctly recognized, so affiliates get the lifetime attribution they've earned.
Consistent Per-Variation Commission Settings
For variable products, each variation now correctly keeps its own affiliate commission settings when you save. Previously, saving could overwrite every variation with the last one's values — this is resolved, so per-variation rates behave exactly as configured.
Security Update
As part of our ongoing security diligence, we updated a bundled third-party library (Action Scheduler) to its latest release, resolving some flagged unescaped admin output. There's no evidence of any exploit in the wild, but we always keep bundled dependencies current — we recommend updating.
Additional Fixes & Polish
Resolved a rare admin fatal error ("get_columns() on null") that could occur on certain WordPress admin screens, including when opening Screen Options on background-task pages.
Store credit checkout reliability: fixed a database query that referenced a non-existent column on every affiliate checkout — this both silenced a background error and restored the safeguard that prevents store credit from being deducted twice.
Full settings page on every plan: the Form Customizer settings tab now renders the complete, saveable settings page for all license tiers, instead of cutting off for stores that don't have the Pro form builder.
Copy fix: corrected a small typo ("grace deriod" → "grace period") in the Fraud Prevention settings. Updated translations as well.
Automatically include no-cache headers that common caching plugins respect on the affiliate portal, login, and short code pages.
These updates are part of our continuous effort to provide a robust and user-friendly affiliate management solution. Thank you for your continued support and feedback!
