We are pleased to release a Striking MultiFlex update Ver 2.1.7. This is a maintenance oriented update containing plugin updates and miscellaneous theme tweaks. Striking is also compatible with the newest Woo update.

Please see the release thread below for more details and the full changelog. This is what Envato considers a "discretionary " update as we have created it for all theme owners irrespective as to whether you have renewed your Envato License Support. If you have renewed then you can use the theme update settings to update your website. If you have not renewed your license support then you have to manually download the update from your Envato account once you receive an email from them advising it is available in their theme repository, and install the update manually by ftp. We anticipate Envato will approve the update within a few business days.

Dear Striking MultiFlex Theme Owners:

Today's release is an Envato "discretionary" maintenance release available to all license owners irrespective of your Envato Support status. Once approved at Envato it will be available to download from your Envato account. Owners who are current on support payments can use the internal "one touch" update settings avoiding all the hassles of manual downloads and ftp updating.

This is a maintenance release with the focus on updating plugins and misc theme tweaks. Striking MultiFlex is PHP 8, WordPress 5.7.1+, Woo 5.2.2 compatible.

ADDED OR IMPROVED:
004) Added: BBPress Widget CSS
005) Added: Excluding current post item from recent, popular, related posts overviews (single post, single portfolio and widgets). Override is available by apply_filters.

FIXED:
006) Fixed: Check for empty menu_name in theme settings options tabs title.
007) Fixed: Breadcumbs array index warning message which occured in BBPress Topics pages.
008) Fixed: Sidebar Array to string conversion warning message in single post and single page when elementor is active due to strange way of elementor hooking into wordpress and changing a string, which is returned by a function, into a array.

CHILD THEMES:
There is only a very minor change in both the free simple child theme, and in the Advanced Child Theme (paid) to the rtl.css file. If you are not running a multilanguage website which has right to left languages (Hebrew, Arabic) then you do not need to update the child theme.

WP 5.7 and NEW STRIKING MULTIFLEX & WP CHAMPION UPDATES - Thanks To @TassieNZ

We are pleased to release a Striking MultiFlex update Ver 2.1.5 to correspond with the new WordPress 5.7 release. WP Champion users will see a release notification in your dashboard late today or early March 11. We have submitted Striking to Envato but one should allow up to 5 days for they to approve (or refuse) a submission.

There is no urgency to update! There is nothing critical in this WP update such that you need immediately update!! Furthermore most plugins are going to take some time to react to the WP update and the very significant changes in java dependencies that impact themes and plugins - for many themes and plugins it will take a week or more as few plugins undertake their own java coding - mostly they job that out and thus will be some time to catch up. So take a deep breath, relax....we will have more info posted in the release thread soon.

Keep your eyes peeled to your dashboard as we will soon be releasing a new bonus Ver 3.0 series of Striking MultiFlex with the initial version having many with new features such as custom width options for webpages, a new mobile menu (hamburger style menu), a front end visual editing via Elementor with several hundred section template plus more features. This is the first of several bonus releases planned throughout 2021/22 that will only be available via the internal updater and we created to thank license holders for maintaining their support - it costs time and money to develop on an ongoing basis but we will continue to give back to those who support us.
