Gmail is now an inbox channel: connect a mailbox over OAuth and have inbound mail land in the omnichannel Inbox, with replies sent from the connected Gmail account (polled every three minutes).
Voice notes record reliably again — rewritten recorder with a live timer, cancel, a five-minute cap and distinct microphone errors, and Chromium's WebM recordings are remuxed to Ogg so they play and send with real audio instead of 0:00.
Dictation detects the spoken language: speak Bangla, Hindi, English or anything else and it is typed back in that language, with no language picker and no dependency on the browser's speech engine.
AI Reply Assistant: "Generate reply" is now the highlighted primary action, the custom instruction accepts voice input, a hint library sits in a dropdown beside it (including suggestions worked out from the conversation itself), and replies no longer attach a paid-service offer by default — never on a complaint.
AI failures report the provider's real error, and a timeout is distinguished from a cancelled request.
A fresh installation opens the setup wizard instead of a sign-in page: every route except the marketing landing page is gated until setup completes, and /setup stops serving once it does.
The wizard checks the database before it starts and names what is missing — unapplied migrations, missing SQL functions or a stale schema.
Installations stranded without a super admin can recover, from the wizard or with the standalone supabase/patches/recover-super-admin.sql patch, which does nothing if a super admin already exists.
Setup's timezone, language and currency pickers now carry the app's full worldwide lists, with search.
Tasks created from a chat now show which conversation they came from, with a one-click link back to that thread.
The read tick turns blue in the conversation list, not just in the message bubble, and the empty strip under conversations with no labels, assignee or unread badge is gone.
