IMPORTANT
- Everest 2.0.0 is completely rewritten from the ground up, so things will look a bit different than they do on your current site.
This could give you problems if you have done heavy customizations with CSS or if you are overriding templates in a Child Theme. We have tried to keep the theme as backward compatible as possible.
We’re really sorry if the upgrade gives you problems, but we really think you will love the new Everest.
You can always go back to version 1.x if there is too many problems with your current installation.
- Always take a backup before upgrading: Always take a backup of Theme Options and site when upgrading to a major new version!
What it mean:
We don’t support Everest 1.x any more. That being said, Everest 1.x won’t be updated (new features, bugs fixed, improvement) any more. If you are OK with your current Everest 1.x theme, you can use it. But without new features and skins from Everest 2.x. We strongly recommend you to move to Everest 2.x
There is no easy way to update Everest 1.x to Everest 2.x. Basically you should create new store with Everest 2.x

- Uninstall rit-core plugin
- Install Everest 2.0 theme (zoo-everest.zip)
