Hi! Sometimes it does not matter what the function is called, if it is calling the CEO of advanced custom fields, the fbi or a member of babiato haha, what matters in the nulled is if that plugin works as if it were activated. Greetings! Not sure this is really nulled.
includes/updates.php contains request method which can make http requests to
connect.advancedcustomfields.com
It is called twice from within updates.php
So it is very possible that the plugin is still calling home.
What matters to some people is that the nulled script cannot communicate with the servers of the developers of that script.what matters in the nulled is if that plugin works as if it were activated.
Or would you want to use a script illegally that tells the developers the name, domain, language and timezone of the WP install you are using the script on? I definitely wouldn't want that, even if it was on a local dev domain. There are two ways you can "null" a script:
- by bypassing the activation of a license (not quite recommended as the script may contain snippets that continue communication to dev server)
- by actually zeroing all communication to dev server (this is the real "nulled script")
