Hm, you're right, I cannot remember having that problem when I installed a previous version, although in this thread there are other references to it (but no solutions).

No, but I suppose you don't really need the ALC version, but can use a general WooCommerce plug-in for that, like:

Hi, I'm having a problem with sportspress or woocommerce, when I install the theme the site has a critical error and I can't use the theme. I'm using version 4.4.5. Can you tell me how to solve it?

Apparently that '+' sign is the problem, but I'm using SportsPress Pro as well (with Alchemists theme, but again, the problem doesn't lie there), and I don't get these critical errors.

That seems to be a problem in version 8 indeed:


Although in the above example, it's only a '+', not '+=' as in the SportsPress file. The solution given is to replace the plus sign with a dot, but I'm not sure that would solve it in this case.

That line by the way is used for adjustments in player statistics, so if you don't plan on using that, you can also comment the section and thus ignoring it.

Anyone know how to use 'featured-image' on the player profiles instead of the custom shizzle the theme uses? i know it is possible, because i used to change this back in the day but i have no idea anymore how i did it.

In the theme's file located here:
/sportspress/player/player-heading-fullwidth.php
replace the call for $player_image with a call for the post's thumbnail.

However, that $player_image is also used in other places, like on the player's card, in the roster gallery, and in player widgets. It's therefor better to do it the other way around and automatically set the featured image from the picture you choose for the player's profile. Since it's an ACF field, the way to do that is covered here:

Interesting, I'm not that experienced in the development area, but will try to mess around with it.

The thing what i want to achieve is that the player logo on the player profiles is taken from the plugin 'Featured Image from URL (FIFU)' or the standard 'photo' column because fifu will also update that ;P.
