Hi, Is it working now..??
Can anyone help me with - where to get the SHA1 certificate from my app

For debug key use this command :

Method 1 : For windows environment use this keytool command.
C:\Program Files\Java\jdk1.8.0_231\bin>keytool -exportcert -alias androiddebugkey -keystore "C:\Users\Administrator\.android\debug.keystore" -list -v

Then grab this SHA1 key from terminal and paste it in your firebase project's setting's -> Add SHA1 key section -> save it -> download the google.service.json file -> put/replace this file under your root project's 'app' folder.

Method 2 : from Android studio -> gradle section (right top ) -> under task you need to click 'signinreport. Then you will see the SHA1 in the terminal.

Note : Sometimes in your projects build folder (app/build/generated /res/google-services/debug/values/values.xml -> old attributes are there -> compare it with your current google.service.json. If found different, then delete this google-services folder and rebuild your project.

Hope it helps.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Can you pls tell me the admin side changes to be made. I mean what all files need to be edited on server side to make the code working.
