Before using the elementor for creating my website khadush.com
I was trying to figure out should I use elementor or webflow for creating my website. After doing my initial research, I found that webflow is much better than elementor because it's speedy.

But at the same webflow was costly, so I decided to go with elementor by trusting my own guts, and after cr eating my website with it, I found that it is still very fast, which is unbelievable.

Well, if you optimize properly and use WP Rocket (for example) any page builder sites will be fast 🤷‍♂️

Look at loading times, and don't forget about mobile devices. You will easily get better scores using custom made theme without any optimisation. And code will be waaaay cleaner. Gutenberg will eat elementor piece by piece until it dies.

BTW. Look into console, you have dozens of warnings and 6 errors on your site.

Consider using oxygen instead if you really want use page builder.

Been using Oxygen and it is a fun creative experience learning bits and bobs of css and html. The ability to use any library posted on github gives us the confidence to take on any type of functionality.

Elementor in itself with optimizations is not slow, but the various plugin developers for elementor are having badly coded elements which unfortunately people use to make their site look fabulous. Unloading certain assets crashes the website and so it limits the optimization process.

Bricks builder is looking promising and might be the best Oxygen Elementor Hybrid. Getting a license now for an LTD of $149 will be a great investment for the future. When Guteberg is just not enough, Bricks should get the job done for easy build websites.

Thanks for the comment. I already know that the mobile version is slower. But since my users and audience are on the desktop version, so I am focusing on that.

In terms of errors, I don't know how to fix them. If you can help me with that, I highly appreciate it.

Thank you

Its not necessary to fix all the errors which google speed tool show, fixing all the errors may break your site.

It´s not a myth it´s a fact!

Page builder insert additional code on top of the theme´s code over-bloating the site.

Can you still get a fast-loading site while using page builders?

Yes! But, you´ll need to do a lot of optimization on your part.

Now, in regards to YOUR site, I don´t think comparing the performance of a site with just 7 indexed pages by Google constitutes enough proof or evidence to either support or validate your premise.

Also, I could replicate your site´s design with GeneratePress and just Gutenberg and I am sure I will get a much better score and performance than yours on both desktop and mobile.
