I just came across this, will you mind explaining it a bit so that to educate someone like me what exactly you mean byIts flex mag from themeforest. Just because he renamed the theme folder and removed the style info doesn't make it his own theme. Best thing to search is after code snippets using nerdydata.com. He can change the theme name but nobody will change the entire coding.

Thank you very much for your response @gopo, wouldn't these patterns be common amongst the themes using a common CSS Framework - anyway nerdydata provides access to complete data if you have a paid subscription.Every theme has specific classes for its elements in its source code. Its hard to find this class for example in a different theme but BIMBER from themeforest :
class="mc4wp-form mc4wp-form-313" . If you search for that class name on nerdydata you'll get some 300 results, 90% using the BIMBER theme. Some people change the theme name inside styles.css but nobody will change every specific class name. Just an example.
