Very active is like the Babiato forum where users have something to say and it's meaningful.. Where they can share resources and knowledge.

Quality content is basically the content that users are interested in. It's not just written for the sake of being out there. It solves some problem.

I am a good SEO specialist. If you need help with a particular project and don't have the time to dig deep for information or you have more in depth questions, you can hire me.
Yes, you are right. It depends on the both.

no...its all BS , i used to believed this , but its lead me no where...optimize my content and site like crazy and i still on page 50+ ...but once i add some links on it , it boosted out on 1rst page...but to be fair , links without well structure site and content will lead you no where, while great content without links also just a wasting time ....good website/content and good links ...50/50 ratio

I thinks no, because backlink its like a pillar and your site with article it's a roof, if someone say you can rank up without backlink i agree too but you must have very good article quality that can give you whitehat backlink.
this is not about who is wrong who is right but it is about how we learn and then understand a concept that is right and then make it a guide / belief because experience is the best teacher for you🥰

Speed is everything. So let me explain.

Previously my site score in pagespeed was around 40 and it would take around 8 hours to index a page and i tracked down how many times googlebot was crawling.

Few days back i decided user experience is imp. So i decided to optimized website and made every page score 90+

And realized that googlebot started crawling at crazy speed.

Previously it used to index 1-4 posts per day with 3-8 hours delay.

After optimising the website, it took only 10-30mins for google to crawl and index every post.

My backlink profile is avg.

I recently tested this trick on a brand new site with zero backlinks. Surprisingly it's competing on 1st page last place.

I believe good website navigation + less duplicate content + website speed + some external links = what google loves.

My competitor learned this trick and now he's ranking too 😕

What keyword and where? (the 0 backlinks)

Your equation already included a lot of stuff for someone who started with "Speed is everything.".

I love speed. I was already working on that before CWW was talked about.
But speed is just another piece of the puzzle.

When you go from 40 to 90, correct me if I'm wrong, but that's more than double.
Obviously, there are results.

And sorry for the link provided not being the best one, but if you're interested in that part of your post, you can easily find something more recent: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-crawl-rate/434265/

Sorry can't give the keywords/backlink info but trust me i have huge competition. I have 50+ regularly updated sites which are 4-8years old as competitors. my site is just 3 years old and another is 1 year old but started working on it since 2months (already adsense approved with some posts being ranked in top).

Now coming to the point, i agree that there is no particular thing that will make you site rank on top. But atleast considering my experiment for past 6months, If website is speed enough for google to crawl at craziest possible, bot will automatically index or atleast consider it to index sooner or later.
In my perspective optimizing on page seo(per post) + Site Speed + perfect navigation design (no bullshit) + No duplicate content = exactly what google is looking for.

Can you imagine more than 14 pages of google search results has been indexed in less than 24hrs after optimising site with speed + few other seo related stuff.

And yes stop taking those articles seriously. Google themselves said that after website is migrated to new hosting they will limit the crawl no matter how fast website is. Lol after i migrated, more than 160 posts have been indexed in 2 days and infact ranked on 1st 3 positions.

If you can't give a keyword and a country (that's all I asked), sure, I will trust you.
Anyway, good luck.

As the thread opened on 2020 and i think the OP find the answer, i tell you the Final answer!
NO!
Rank in SERP means Compete and SEO is ON-PAGE and OFF-PAGE optimization, You should have both except when you don't have any competitors.
