I couldn't replicate your issue. I don't think installing a different version will work. Can you explain where you're getting this error exactly? If possible post a screenshot.

But you can try: just click on "history" on top of this thread and there will be other versions.

*This is not the php standalone. This is a plugin for wordpress.
