Bro, I'm extremely grateful for what this community has done for me.
Mine was just an honest question because the other plugins work straight out of the box without the extra step.

My guess is that Tomz posts the original plugin while another friendly member made the "alteration."
Sorry for snapping at you. Some members have a inflated sense of entitlement. Glad you're not one of them.

For the people who need the activation: find the patch.zip
And replace the file from that zip with the corresponding file in the newest plugin version
