Copy website content to MAMP

Hi,
How to copy a live WordPress site to a localhost (MAMP)?
I want to edit at localhost and then copy it to a new website. With all themes, plugins, databases.
Which plugin is the best solution to handle?

Hi. @rolliebollie!
The procedure backward the same as from localhost to live host: 1) backup your database, change database urls via find/replace to localhost url, 2) import that changed database to your local MySQL (via phpMyAdmin), 3)backup your wp-content live host folder and upload that to the localhost folder.

Is it basic Mamp or Mamp Pro?

It's been a while since I used it but I think Mamp Pro has an import option?

If not then All in one WP Migration plugin is your best best.
