I just searched themeforest and codecanyon for directory and listing themes/plugins and found a new possible alternative to directorist. It just got released in Feb 2023. check it out on codecanyon.
It looks more modern than most of those old looking and slow loading best selling directory themes.
The main feature i need is geolocation distance/radius search on left sidebar to filter listing results as a list and map view. Thats what directorist has or is improving but this new plugin seems like its competing with directorist which is good for us
