if this was extracted inside your plugin folder, you did the right thing. Now go to the plugin page in your WordPress backend and activate elementor.

this was extracted in the windows default downloads folder. where do I find plugins folder in my pc ?. Help is much appreciated.

in the past I could use pro templates but now it is telling to connect with elementor ? am I doing anything wrong?

downloaded elementor and pro, activated and trying to import pro elements

u need to install it to the WordPress plugins, not your PC plugins After extracted then upload it to your site via plugins -> add new.

Hi! I need your help!

After installing Element or Pro, the toolbar starts to hang. The waiting animation just turns and nothing happens next.

Has anyone encountered this?
How to solve this problem?

Try to increase php memory size to minimum 256mb, if that doesn't work disable all other plugins one by one to see what plugin is making that.
My problem was memory limit and wordfence plugin. Wordfence & Elementor both use alot of memory.

I recommend at least 512MB

This update package crashed my site-wide, causing every element of my site to display glitchy and unusable errors. I had to roll back to v3.4.5 and everything was fine
Surely this update package is what is causing the error.

I've compared the code to the untouched version and there is nothing malicious in it so calling it a virus is just plain wrong.

Have you tested the untouched update on your site?

maybe calling a virus is a mistake
but I have encountered many errors since installing this update. that's just from my experience since install.
I just wanted to let you know so you don't run into the same situation
