Here's that altered version.
Connect a FREE account first; then load this pro plugin version and activate it.
I've not tested this a lot yet, but I am able to download pro templates and access pro widgets like nav menu

just increase upload_max_filesize in php.ini or via cpanel if u used it.

The free version can now be safely updated from within your plugins area inside WordPress.

It's a little bit odd that it says unknown it should actually say 3.7.0 (Yes Elementor forgot to update the compatibility tag in pro 3.8.0)

just update the free version first, then install the pro version, that's how I did it!
