It works well for me, it's probably a matter of hosting configuration.

I've never used it personally as I hate Gutenberg lol, but you have this...Hey guys! I have one question, maybe somebody could please help me answer it.
So i've been testing Elementor and i like it very much, it's way better than WPBakery Visual Composer and that's a lot to say when i've been using it from the start of my Wordpress journey.
Thing is, you see, WPBakery has a backend block system to build the website without having to actually load it in real time, take a look:

I've searched Elementor up and down for the exact same feature and I came up empty.
Do you guys know if it's possible to enable somehow? Or if there's a plugin that enables this functionality?
Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thanks!

It's really sad because it would be a great functionality for Elementor, since it's an awesome plugin.Edit - Actually reading more on it I don't think it is that similar to what you have in WP Bakery.
I found a post on their Github going way back to 2016 asking for such a feature and the reply was basically no we won't be doing that. It's really sad because it would be a great functionality for Elementor, since it's an awesome plugin.
I use the backend with WPBakery to make it friendly for people to manage their own websites, it's really simple to use and understand.
Hopefully someday Elementor will notice and add it.
Thanks for your reply!![]()
Damn, that sucks big time. Maybe some plugin developer will give them the finger and make a plugin to add such feature because truly it would be greatI found a post on their Github going way back to 2016 asking for such a feature and the reply was basically no we won't be doing that.

there is way but u can install new version on old wp installNoob question: I have an existing site built with an older version of elementor from this post (thanks!) and now I want to install this new version.
I understand I need to do this on a fresh installation of WordPress, but I'm wondering what is the best way to get my content from the existing site if I do a fresh install?
