did you try a clean install?
did you follow the steps below?
Try this:
- Deactivate both Elementor and Elementor Pro.
- Delete Elementor.
- Install Elementor from your wordpress dashboard.
- Activate and connect with your account if you have one,if not, make one it's Free.
- Test,if everything works well, go to the next step.
- Install Elementor downloaded from here And activate it.
- Activate Elementor Pro. if it ask for the activation code use this one:

It is important that you use the provided copy of the Elementor free version in the download. Never update the free version using the WordPress repo!!!!
The free version plugin in the download has been nulled to import the templates, also the templates are not downloaded from the Elementor site but from a especial directory in the nulled plugin, so if you update you will loose the template import capability.
@Tomz I suggest to include a similar warning in the Original Post.
