Yes. I even deleted the plugins first and then uploaded them. Didn't just upload and replace.
I even deactivated all the other plugins and left only elementor and tried to run the updater, but same thing happened.

With WordPress nowadays you can simply upload the zip-file, WP will see that you already have it installed, give info about the installed version and uploaded version, and ask if you want to replace old with new. That's it.
Only take care that you upload the individual zip-files for Free and Pro (so not the full package you download from here, which has both included).
