security by obscurity.
running an outdated, vulnrability-ridden software just because it is "bigger and slower" ? and on a live, production ecommerce site that is processing people's money?
god, just please - don't.

elementor adds a lot of overhead, that's for sure. but you're running an ecommerce site... ramp up the resources, get a decent host, and most of all - optimize optimize optimize. everything from server-side to client-side and frontend.
in ecommerce, every 500ms of page load affects conversion rates, and consequently - your revenue.

on a personal note, I would just buy the plugin for production use over an ecommerce website.
this business is unforgiving to those who cheap out on their bread and butter.

I prefer to use very few plugins and the latest licensed version on e-commerce sites.

Okay, before this discussion overtakes the Elementor thread and we get multiple posts about it, just remember it is @darkbrave44 own choice what they do here, we can all voice our own opinions, however whatever @darkbrave44 does is up to them. 😉

There are still significant issues with the new version of Elementor. It looks like more updates will keep coming.

I started getting the following error. I tried to fix the problem but unfortunately it didn't work. :unsure:

The following error(s) occurred while processing the request: Connecting to the Library failed. Please try reloading the page and try again

I created a new account. After clicking the Sync library button, the problem was fixed.

I've found the first connect to the Elementor library works fine.
But any subsequent request doesn't work.

Until you "resync library" in Elementor Tools.
Then it works once again. But any subsequent request doesn't work.

Have not noticed that myself, however many thanks for posting the fix that worked for both of you. 😍
If others read before posting they too can simply try if they get similar issue. 😉

A huge thank you for sharing this! I wanted to know, I have a little problem with the "Featured image" of the "Posts list" block, in the "backend" of Elementor no visual problems but once saved and on the frontend the images areflattened...

Thanks in advance for your help! :)
