I have a list for a newsletter and in order to clean from old address, mailbox full, domain not-existent...i want a software like a Checkmail

if you have a mail server or smtp server, can you use it as a tool to verify your mails (a list not just one) and how can you do that ?
is any php mail verify script - code or py mail verify or other that can do that ?
