I have the same issue. Images not displaying. You can find images via storage patch however not displaying. How did you solve this?

I faced error 500, just after installation, but then I did the following, I deleted the installation the database, and redid another database and another installation, after it gives you the message of installation successful, don't click the button to go to the site , close the page and open it directly through its url, so it won't give a 500 error.
