Has anyone found a simple solution to cross-domain tracking a gravity forms submission that redirects to a new URL?
Right now I have a form, DOMAINA.COM and after submission it redirects to DOMAINB.COM. Problem is, the cross-domain tracking in Google Tag Manager will not decorate the redirect link due to it being an onclick redirect. Not a simple href=URL in the html.
I have found some answers and solutions in this article
1.) https://www.analyticsmania.com/post...king-with-google-tag-manager/#developers-help
It mentions specifically that Gravity Forms inability to be tracked with GTM Default Form Submissions Trigger hinders it's ability for cross-domain tracking on the submission redirect. So I am 99% sure that Gravity Forms is my Problem.
So has anyone had this issue before? Does anyone have a simple solution or implementation for Gravity Forms and Google Tag Manager Cross-Domain Tracking?
I can verify that cross-domain tracking is already working/decorating links with standard href redirects from DOMAINA.COM and DOMAINB.com. Its just the gravity forms submission thats giving me issues. The article even mentions a specific JS solution to submit to developer. And since Gravity forms is widely used, I wondered if anyone had a solution for this before.
If no one has any answers I will hire out and post my solution here if it is a simple snippet/tutorial. Let me know if anyone else is experiencing the same issue
Thanks
