Seems like a BS phishing scam. I don't see any proof.

Ask them for some sort of proof.

You could also try to turn the tables and have a bit of fun, send a reply asking for more time to the email. When they reply, forward it to there hosting company and get there hosting shut down. You might even be able to report it to registar and get the domain yanked.
