Nope. this doesn't work.
Stop suggesting that isn't going to work. If you send traffic to your gig, what are you going to do then? Buy the gig yourself x100 times? That's stupid.
The Proper Way
You need to upload a video to your gig, + 4,5 high quality images. Good copywriting for description, that's pretty much it. + It has to be somewhat unique in contrast to other gigs. That's how you potentially get featured even if your account is new.
A bit of Shortcut
I'm no longer active on Fiverr, but previously we had a small group of fiverr sellers where we buy gigs from each other. So that you have low impression count but really high conversion. No idea if this still works, anybody else can confirm?
If you send traffic to your gig, and can improve your gig rank, so it will be send to your gig more over buyer than before. Do not under estimate about traffic.

not really. If you send 1000x traffic with 5 purchases. That means your gig sucks because of the really low conversion rate. No one knows about the exact algorithm, but you just have to think logically. Balance things out, and you'll rank.
