How to Grow my websites Traffic

Guys how do you grow your traffic on a new website, I have a website that has been online for almost a year now and the traffic is less than 1k since going live. any advice will be appreciated

You should follow SEO principle, do some marketing in Social Media, forums(I am not talking about spamming or just throwing links).

1- make sure the content is high quality
2- have sitemap and submit it to search engines
3- advertise in social media
4- post what people are searching for, you can use google trend for that
