How to recover my computer from virus.

Hello Babiato.

Can any one help me with a Good Anti virus i can use to recover my computer.

Since i started using my laptop I've not thought of installing any anti virus and am hit with a deadly virus ans all the files in my computer has (.remk) extension.

My google chorme is now managed by an organization making it to open multiple pages itself the same thing with the operamini.

I recently downloaded a files one of our member shared ever since i installed that program to my system ive been having this problem..

Please can someone help me with how to fix this without flashing my computer i have important files i cant loss them.

From my experience Malwarebytes is the best in fighting such malware, they have a free trial (14 days) and also adw cleaner free tool which is very handy.

Simply are you both guys crazy ? or suggesting him without knowing what actually happened ?

@itsmyxme's system is infected with .REMK RANSOMWARE , not a virus / malwaye / adware that a simple ESET security / Malwarebytes security or cleaner can fix the issue . . .

Suggestions like these are recommending user to use HTML themes on WordPress platform :cautious::cautious:



ANYWAY::

@itsmyxme that ransomware has released 2 versions till now (older one which can be decrypted using a tool , but newer version doesn't have any solution till now. . . so if your's one is infected by newer one then nothing can save you at this current moment . . . If you still hoping for any possibility or thinking your's one infected by older release of .REMK then follow this guide (specially the decryption tool for the older release):

I would highly recommend seeking some professional help with these sort of ransomware. I have cleaned up these before for my customers, best way is always to format and restore a clean backup if you have one.

Hi

There are a few things you can do. have you tried kaspersky they do a 30 day trail
once installed update the data base then its best to restart the laptop in safe mode, Normally keep tapping f8 when laptop restarts, depending on your windows , then turn off restore from a earlier point in setting . as they can hide in there. then do a full scan. this will kill all viruses and keep your files safe

Malwarebytes and hitman pro after scanning removing and restarting everything will be fine.

someday ago, my pc also got infected. malwarebytes, eset and everything well known softwares can't be install. Finally found software which not detected by ransomware.

Commonly ransom converted to ads xD
