Hi everyone,

I'm looking for a plugin for WordPress to have this features:

- Frontend-> option for people to chose what size to download from an image ( 4k, 1920x1080, original size, etc.)
- Frontend-> show a GRID gallery with all images uploaded (maybe categories)

I'm looking to all type of plugins but I don't know which or how this can be called... (image selector downloaded, download image manager)

If anyone know a good plugin to have those features please share it here.

Regards,
spirit

Sunshine Photo Cart which is based on Easy Digital Downloads. It has a free version, so you could try that out first to see if it suits your needs, but the Pro version adds some add-ons.

You might also want to have a look at EDD's write-up on selling images online with their plug-in.
Thanks, I'm not looking to sell images, just to offer download options of the image. I will take a look.

If anyone still have similar plugins please share it here.

As you can see this plugin DEMO https://demo.plixpress.com/porshe-carrera-911-wallpaper/

the image offers users to download the desired resolution of the image. I want something similar. when someone click one photo to have various options to download that image.

What I need is the next image example, I just don't know what plugin to use to archive that.

Wherever my imagination takes me
I know it's been more than a week since you asked this, but your question intrigued me. I thought it would be easy to find a plug-in doing this, but you're right: there's none, or at least not one that I could find.

Many lightbox solutions have the option to download an image, but only in its original size. Just see the image pop-up here on Babiato. You can download the image below, but yes, only the full size of it.

So I thought: let's have a little fun and try this myself. The screenshot below shows how far I am, using the lightbox library called FancyBox.

wordpress-image-download-example.png

The panel to the right slides into view when hovering over the nav dots. At the top of that panel you see links to get to the next or previous image, and the picture caption (if there is one). Furthermore a button with the text "Download Image". When clicking on the button, underneath appear links to download the image in different sizes. These sizes are taken from the so-called 'srcset' which WordPress adds automatically to images, EXCEPT (and that's strange) in their standard gallery. Fortunately, there are other galleries that include such a srcset.

As you can see, it's an unordered list with different sizes not neatly arranged. That's something I have to look into. Also, there are a bit too many choices, but of course you can limit the sizes WordPress creates (and thus the list shown here).

I'm thinking of making this idea into a plug-in, but then probably with some more bells and whistles, like a pop-up after download to thank the photographer, a 'favourites' system and so on. Also, I need to cleanup the code a bit more for an official release.

Damn that will be very cool, I still need a solution with this feature. I found on google some Image/Stock Platforms script itself along with that feature... But doesn't fit my needs because I need a plugin for wordpress because it needs to fits the Theme of the wordpress, if is a script platform it will be very hard to make it look as part of the main website.

So yes, I'm still looking around, but if you can make that a plugin for WordPress (affordable please) I think you can have many buyers.

Thanks for your time and interest!
