check your installation, use phpmyadmin or similar to display the db structure and check for a table called "dbpinynz_titl.sm_background_settings" if it exists.

apologize in advance I want to ask. I just installed this first on my hosting. then I installed v5. do not need to be overwritten again with vUpdate right? then I open .env and edit it into my database. when I install and until confirm install. my website has an error. is there something wrong ?

On the same host try to do a fresh installation: a new one to test the setup files

Only issue I have found was generate-id-card gives a 500 yet student id works
