Actually you dont have to worry about your older links as long as you backup the mysql. Upgrade it, restore the mysql and subtitles.

I already tried the version has difficult errors the truth is you can migrate to the new version your database safely to the new version 1.8.3 without problems have a security cup of your database and pass it to the new version 1.8.3 regards

you have to look at where the links of your movies are, not the entire database
