Yeah something weird there.

Although Astra seems to be in and out of the repository lately too.

Astra has been banned from the Repository due to third party links in their code. They have apparently been informed numerous times and never responded. At least that is what I heard/recall. As for Kadence, there are 2 versions. The free version as found directly on their site...and the pro version which comes with additional features. Kadence is not found in the WordPress repository and likely never will.

Astra is back in the repository now.

Seems a stupid move from the Kadence team not to have their free theme in the repository.

Yes! And this is AFTER they've reportedly removed all the affiliate links. I don't know what the reason could be.

Kadence Pro is a Plugin, you need to install it under the Plugins section of WordPress.
