Oxygen will still work as normal (based on what they said) and Bricks, Zion or even Breakdance are not substitutes for Oxygen. Oxygen functions primarily based on classes, unlike other builders.

But i'm enjoying working with Bricks and i believe it will overtake Oxygen.

I would argue that Bricks is very much alike Oxygen (in terms of usage), and with Section and Div elements coming in the next release, it will be continuing in that direction… There are quite a few things that are done even better than in Oxygen. And I agree, they will definitely steal the show within a year, just watch…

I've dedicated myself to work and crafting Oxygen!
I'm really sad about what happened! I don't believe it's gonna stay more a year!
especially that they confirmed they will not re-write it! with vue.js or other languages!
Oxygen based on angular.js which support has officially ended as of January 2022!
One huge red flag! Besides a lot of things...
Transparency is another huge thing... Re-think and read all the things needed to consider your decision!
I believe Bricks has a promising future and I wasn't expecting this to happen but it happened!
For me, I've decided already to drop one of my projects with Oxy and re-make it to work with Bricks!
Bricks have very good potential and are promising! I might be wrong... but this is all based on facts!

Louis Reingold, The owner, and creator of this amazing platform Does not give a fu** about the community ^__^...
The facts say this is not me!
Matter of time will see O2 buried! or might something else will happen! Time will tell.

One of Kevin's comment replies on his latest video (Is Your Website Page Builder Legit?), was: "I have a full write-up on the Oxygen/Breakdance situation in the Inner Circle. Didn't want to share it publicly, though. At least not yet."

@Kareem, I guess you're part of the Inner Circle, can you please let us know if this is what you initially shared in this thread, or is there something new? You don't have to share it if you'd rather respect Kevin's wishes to stay within the Inner Circle (I fully understand that), maybe just drop it in a private message? I'll be joining the Inner Circle once Bricks has taken off and things (probably with v1.6 - according to the roadmap), but not yet.

This is the statement he made about the whole thing! the other one was just posted in brief about Breakdance pros/cons...

And the reason I put this thread under this rule:

Respect Kevin, and I'm pretty sure this needed to be public though! not because of me or you or Kevin!

Because of Louis being an asshole the whole interview and not respecting anyone!
Also, me being a victim of using the Oxygen platform like others! Nevertheless, I admit O2 has changed my production and created proper websites... this is a credit to the platform and the people who supported it.
and I'm truly sad about the outcome... I thought O2 gonna be huge by 1 year or less! but no one can predict the future and again might something change the game.

P.S. He will drop the first tutorials for Bricks this month as he confirmed.
